I have one of these being used as my a media centre connected up to the tv in the front room. I had to purchase a small form factor graphics card to connect it to the tv but its an excellent very quiet small form factor good little machine handles everything i throw at it and it gets used a lot for streaming. The processors do the job very well. I do have 3.5 gb ram and a 256 graphics card in the beast and its superb.

It truly is a cracker of a PC, it out performs my £450 custom built PC at a third of the cost. The only thing that let is down was the on board graphic card so all I did was place a 512MB card onto a 2 port low profile card and boom, one sweet SFF PC, The only think I am thinking of changing is upgrading the RAM from the standard 1GB to a HUGE 4GB, and possible if it can be fitted to the CPU am thinking of maybe water cooling the CPU and GPU too. Once this is done this PC well leave all the other standing!!! I am even thinking of buying 1 for my mother for mothers day as I am that impressed with the system. Quiet, fast, C2Duo, XP Pro - a bargain, I wanted a small computer to pair with my TV. This is perfect and gives me lots of legacy back-up should my main PC fail. It has XP Pro, parallell and serial ports, lots of USB ports and PS/2s. It even has a DVD-RW drive. It is fast thanks to the Core2Duo processor, as long as you don''t want to do anything graphically intensive. There is a PCI-Ex16 slot that accepts low profile cards, but the power supply would be strained by anything with much oomph. Best of all for a living room PC, it''s amazingly quiet, barely audible at all sat right next to it. I have a noisy, unreliable gaming monster for when I need that. When I don''t this is a really excellent computer. Bargain. |
